We saw it on the catwalk, we see it on the high street... it's official: suede is the new favorite fabric for all the fashionistas. But the question remains: Can we actually embrace this trend or is it only model figure friendly?
By checking the high street brands and trying on a few suede items myself, I must say that this trend is suitable for every possible figure. You just have to find what you like and the perfect fit for you.
Of course the high end brands use the best quality of suede but we can compromise with more on budget options. Here are a few of my favorites:
This a beautiful, easy to wear jacket from River Island (£60), with a neutral color that makes it perfect for those chilly summer nights.
This is not just a suede dress. This is a showstopper from ASOS (£85) that you can wear on so many occassions depending on the way you're going to style it. With sneakers for cool walks around the city or with ankle boots for a night out with the girls, this patchwork dress is perfect!
This is a classic A-line miniskirt that embraces the 70's trend without looking that you're wearing a costume from Woodstock. You can find it at Zara for £69.99.
If you're going to buy one suede piece this season then this amazing midi skirt should be it. This skirt from Marks & Spencer (£199) has great quality and fits almost every figure. Can't wait to buy it! If my bank account allows it...
Suede accessories is not actually a new addition in our wardrobe but now we see them in more neutral colours. This bag from Next (£60) incorporates two of the biggests trend this season: suede and fringe.
So, those were my little suede findings... if you have more suggestions, please leave a comment below.
